The base is situated within 50 km. from Astrakhan on a sand beach of one of the branches of the Volga – the wide and deep river Kamyziak, and is surrounded by an ancient oak-poplar grove.
The bend of three rivers allows reaching different regions of the Caspian seashore: Kirovsky, Nikitinsky, Kulaginsky banks and Rytyj and Beluzhij banks on the river Verkhnaya Kalinovka. But there is no need to go far. Just opposite the base there is a deep-water pit where such specimens live!!!
Seven quite new comfortable cottages (total area of each is from 42 to 56 sq.m.) consisting of 2 bedrooms, sitting-room, fully equipped kitchen, hall, bathroom with Jacuzzi are waiting for you. There are comfortable fracture beds, wardrobe, ecologically clean furniture, TV, DVD and VHS players, satellite TV, individual safe, convector heaters, safe for arm, mini-bar in each room.
Dining-room will astonish you not only with its interior but also with its refined cuisine. The walls are decorated with fishing nets, stuffed fish and water fowl. Our cooks will prepare excellent dishes out of fresh products or your trophies – shashlik, grill, fish soup, etc.
We will serve you breakfast, dinner and supper all the year round; and the earliest fishermen and hunters can take their meals with themselves. You can order the menu.
There are fabulous tents with screen against mosquitoes in front of the dining-room. Here you can have your meal in the open air. Besides, the territory of the base is equipped with special devices against insects.
On the territory of the base there are: secured car-park, brazier hall, Russian bath with font, summer bar with different drinks, ground for camp fire, stage ground, karaoke, pneumatic rifle range, ping-pong, fishing shop and landscape design.
New boats with the engines of 30 h.p. and speed-boat are waiting for you at the bank.
Spring-autumn fishing
During centuries unique geographical location and damp, distinctly continental climate serve as excellent conditions for habitation and spawning of 70 kinds of fish. Huge cat-fish, goldish sazan with the weight up to 25 kg., pike and asp, huge pike perch, perch, silver carp, tench, sabrefish, famous vobla, redeye, and in the presence of license – beluga, sturgeon, stellate sturgeon, and starlet will become your trophies! Fishing is carried out not only from the bank and boats, but in the depths of clear water.
There is one more male passion – winter fishing. It is not simply fishing for living; it is taking down stress, recovery of nervous system of man and wonderful rest at the nature.
The delta of the Volga below Astrakhan becomes frozen in mid-November, and its inker shallow near-Caspian part becomes frozen at 2-4 degrees of frost. Main deeper channels become frozen by mid-December. Winter catches sometimes exceed spring-summer catches in weight. Pecks go one after another, and comfortable winter temperature from 2 to 5 degrees centigrade only makes your mood better.
Water, cane, numerous islands, plenty of food and reserved regime has made this area the place of spring-autumn migration of water fowl. Ten, hundred thousands of water fowl live here. Gray goose, bean goose, white-fronted goose, wild duck, gadwall, pintail, teal, bald-coot, shelduck, roody shelduck, brand goose, northern duck, sandpiper – it is not the full list of birds allowed for prey during dawn and evening-glow. You can also observe majestic swan, pelican, sea eagle, cormorant and even flamingo! Besides, huge wild boar, raccoon, wolf, fox, hare, saiga, marmot, mink, otter, nutria, and Caspian seal live here during centuries. And even the most pretentious hunter will not be disappointed and will always remember the hunting victories.
