From 2005, Siberia Airlines will use the new brand name S7, which reflects the current stage of the company’s development, gives a new perspective on air travel to passengers, offers a new level of service based on modern technology, and gives the freedom to gain new sensations from flying.
Today it is easy for S7 passengers to take advantage of the wide range of possibilities offered by the airline’s internal routes to all the major cities of Russia and the CIS. S7 also has regular flights to Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, working out of 20 countries.
The unique S7 network of destinations is based out of three hub airports – Moscow (Domodedovo), Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) and Irkutsk, from which the airline has up to 100 flights a day, including more than 30 from Moscow. In order that the network functions effectively and without disruption, the airline has a wide range of aircraft, including more than 50 long-distance aircraft such as Airbus A310, Boeing 737, TU-204, IL-86 and TU-154. The airline is continually working to update its fleet with modern aircraft.
The professional engineering and technical staff of the airline ensure that the S7 work is in good working order and there is a high level of flight safety. The company’s technical division is licensed to carry out all forms of maintenance of S7’s planes.
The company is a member of IATA (International Air Transport Association) and plans to increase the geographical span of its international network. Over recent years there has been intensive work to sign Interline agreements (recognizing traffic documents) with other airlines. Currently, S7 has agreements with almost 60 other airlines, including Lufthansa, British Airways, Korean Air, Air China and Qantas.
S7 is one of the 50 biggest airlines in the world in terms of domestic traffic, and one of the biggest 100 in terms of key performance indicators. In 2004 the company carried out almost 30,000 flights – transporting 3.75 million passengers and 23,000 tons of cargo and post.

ABOUT KRASAIR (AIRUINION) AIRLINES

The public corporation „Krasnoyarsk airlines” („KrasAir”) airline” is one of the largest carriers in Russia, carrying out about 6% of all passenger operations in domestic and more than 3% in international airlines.
„KrasAir” airline is an official carrier according to intergovernmental agreements with South Korea, Germany and Chinese People’s Republic.
„KrasAir” is a member of BSP of a number of the countries of Europe and Asia, a member of MITA and IATA Clearing House.

More than 4500 people work in the company, including about 550 air experts and more than 60 of them are aircraft commanders.
Since 2001 „KrasAir” has been working according to the system of „junction” schedule ASTRA (Aviation Siberian Transport Alternative), which uses the international transfer technologies. For the first time in Russia the independently developed scheme of efficiently snap-together flights with the only point of intermediate flight stop in „Krasnoyarsk” airport has been applied.
During 2004 about 2 million passengers made use of „KrasAir”, which exceeds the results of 2003 for 36,7%. The airline has 35 modern passenger liners, including TU-214, TU-204-100, IL-96-300.
In the end of 2004 the association of five companies „KrasAir”, „Domodedovo Airlines”, „Samara”, „Omskavia”, „Sibaviatrans” has been created. Remaining legally independent, the companies have joined their resources and cooperate on a parity mutually beneficial basis. Since June 2005 the airlines have been working under the united brand – AirUnion.
